Each Pre-release is a party at Level Up Games

  • Food: Our $5 pizza meal deal gets you two slices and a soda. All locations. Pay in person before pre-release.

  • Mini Games: No time wasted between rounds with fun FF-themed mini games with extra prizes!

  • Themed Photo Booth: A picture’s worth a 1,000 words! Not sure how that translates to mana though…

  • Decorations: Final Fantasy takes over Level Up all pre-release weekend!

  • Our initial pre-order wave is soldout; however, we will have MTG x FF items for sale at all locations in-store at opening on June 6th

  • Wizards of the Coast has local game shop programs which allow us to sell items before the global release date for a set.

    MTG x FF items will be available on June 6th at all our locations.

  • All new MTG set pre-orders can be picked up in-store starting June 6th.

  • We currently are unsure when/if restocks will be available for FFxMTG. Please come by during pre-release weekend to purchase the set while supplies last.

  • MTG x FF items will only be sold in-store starting June 6th as we estimate all items will sellout during release weekend.

 General MTG FAQs

  • All of our tables are free to use as long as another scheduled event does not need them. Feel free to call ahead to ensure space is available.

  • No LUG locations currently sell or take trades on single TCG cards for any game system.

  • A casula MTG eevent where you build and play with cards from youe event kit containing extra goodies and booster packs from the set. See more info on pre-releases on Wizard of the Coast’s website here.

  • It’s called a pre-release as Wizards of the Coast has local game shop programs which allow us to sell items before the global release date for a set.

  • You only need to bring yourself; however, we recommend bringing your own tokens and sleeves.

  • Sleeves are available, but tokens are not always available.Extra dice or empty sleeves are a good alternatives.

  • Yes, basic lands are provided. It’s a huge help to the store if you donate/return basic lands at MTG events.

  • Pre-releases are fantastic events for new & experienced players. However, we strongly reccomend a firm grasp on the basics of MTG before playing in a pre-release. Come play a few games at our weekly events to prepare or watch a tutorial.

  • Online orders may be picked up starting the first day of pre-release weekend and will begin shipping on a set’s global release date.
